Owner/Occupational Therapist
Krista is our fearless leader and an occupational therapist who specializes in treating children of all abilities. She has over 20 years experience working with children, and has specialized her practise to include certifications in:
- Neuro Developmental Treatment (NDT approach)
- Sensory Integration and Praxis (SIPT) training
- IMPACT concussion training
- Kinesiotaping (KTI)
- Child Passenger Safety for Children with Special Needs (Safe Travels for All Children – Instructor)
Krista graduated from Queen’s University in 2002 with a BScOT. She holds a Master’s in Education (Exceptional Learners) from UNB. She is a member in good standing of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Since beginning her career as an OT, Krista has always worked with children, and for many of those years was an active member of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team who provided services to children with complex neurological impairments, including brain and spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, and neuromuscular disorders. She has worked with many other Occupational Therapists in the province to educate, brainstorm, and program plan to ensure exceptional care was being provided across New Brunswick.
She is so excited to be able to use her experience and skills as a paediatric OT to provide services to the kids in the community who need a little help.
Krista is a busy mom of 2 boys and spends most of her free time in the hockey rink, or on the ball field.
