Natalie Hearn

Speech-Language Pathologist

Natalie is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has experience working with children of all ages. She has specific interest in working with speech delays/disorders, early language development, and Autism.

Natalie graduated from Dalhousie University in 2021 with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She is an active member of the New Brunswick Association of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists. She is also a Speech-Language and Audiology Canada member, and completed their mentorship program in 2022. Natalie has received specific training in neurodiversity-affirming practices, and Indigenous culture. She is Hanen Certified, having completed their More Than Words training in March 2024.

Working with an interdisciplinary team has always been an important part of Natalie’s practice. Treating a child holistically and collaboratively provides many benefits to a child’s growth and development. Natalie has worked with other Speech-Language Pathologists as well as Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists throughout her career, addressing the complex needs of her clients together. She has provided services to children with complex needs such as medical trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, specific learning disorders and more.

In her free time, Natalie likes getting outdoors, curling, and quality time with friends and family. You can often find her walking her dog at O’dell Park or paddle boarding up the Nashwaak River.
