Occupational Therapist
Rita graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2020. From there she continued her education at Dalhousie University, completing a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2022. Rita is licensed to practice in New Brunswick and is a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Rita has experience working in private pediatrics, acute adult neurohabilitation, inpatient geriatrics, and community occupational therapy. Rita has experience completing home safety assessments and recommendations, ADL/IADL assessments, assessing and prescribing a wheelchair to meet mobility needs, and assessing and treating children who have a range of OT needs. Over the last two years, Rita has been working with children in a variety of areas such as: fine motor and motor coordination skills, sensory processing, play and development, printing, and emotional regulation. Rita is very excited to be able to provide OT services to kids in the community.

- Anxiety management in children: Practical strategies
- Handwriting without tears assessment and programing
- You can ride two course
In her spare time Rita enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as, engaging in various forms of physical activity.
