Treatment Options

Treatment Sessions/Blocks

If you or your child has a specific goal to work on, services would typically involve :

  • a one or two hour consultation (with or without your child present) to determine a plan for assessment, treatment and follow up.
  • a session, or block of sessions focusing on a specific skill development in clinic, at home or at school/daycare.

Specific Consultation

Do you have a question about your child’s current equipment? Program? Goals? Consultation sessions can be provided on site, or via phone/videoconference.

Home or School Based Program designed by us

Not all kids need one-on-one treatment. We will develop a program that can be carried out while the child participates in their day to day routine and activities with strategies and recommendations to develop target skills. Can be combined with one-on-one sessions as needed.

Training

Offered to school, parents or caregivers on a variety of topics. Can be generic (i.e. covering aspects of a particular diagnosis), or specific to a child’s individual needs.

Groups

With kids who have similar differences or who have similar goals, i.e. handwriting, social skills, sensory, self care.
